Miss Tanika-
I think that was well said. I totally agree with everything you said for the most part. It seems similar to what I was saying in regards to a need to just get that night out sometimes, with your girls or your fellas. My comment was in no way a slight to the 'club chick' because to each is own. I personally just am not a club chick- by choice. However, ofcourse in the instances you are speaking of I do not think that makes you a 'club chick' either. There is nothing wrong with going out for a good time, on occassion, with or without children. The affect on the children, the frequency, the way one carries themselves and so forth all variables in what makes the actions right or wrong.

As for making your own VIP event and having a good time, I salute you. Life is short- enjoy it by all means.

I totally understand your view on the "club chick". It just happens to be one kind of person that attends the club. If it wasn't for the night club, where would a person go that loves music, dance and socializing? There are many different types in the club. I love hanging out with my girls and having a place to let loose and dance. I have been going to clubs for 10 plus years. I cannot say I have gone with the purpose to pick up someone. It is probably the worst place to be if that is your intentions. Like u said, everyone is someone else when they are in this environment. Can you blame them. A club can be a release for some, an escape or just somplace to enjoy. These drunk, catty girls, and wannabe's will be everwhere you go (ie: THE HATERS). Its just easier to sell that "fake" to a person who is intoxicated and in a dark, loud place with low light. There is a reason for the clubs to be filled with alcohol, and dim lights. So people can release. I have seen the arguments between woman, phoniness amongst men, but, it is just a place. The scene is not to blame. There is nothing like working 40-50 hours all week, getting a baby sitter for the kids, and meeting up with the girls at a new HOT SPOT, putting on that FREAK EM dress and partying like your at your HS prom. This for some is fun. Some may disagree but there is a need for constant release in some peoples lives. I know that as the crowd gets younger some may not want to be the OLD chick or man in the club still looking for fun. Yes, you are going to find BABY MAMA'S, cause I'M one, BROKE BROTHA's, cause where else will they go if their broke? The Corner? and people who don't have any other reason to dress up if their lives are dull, stressful, and monotoneous. You will also find CEO's, lawyers, teachers, police, mothers, fathers, and yeah even grandparents. I figure it may not always be fun either. But until then, don't let a bunch of SPOILED party goers spoil the FUN. Everyone deserves to feel alive even if just from (9pm to 4am). LIFE IS A CELEBRATION!! EVERONE IS NOT BLESSED TO BE PERSONALLY INVITED TO A VIP EVENT. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN.
